The Rules
ÂYes, even shopping has rules! All the stores listed below have some sort of pets allowed policy, but every location can make its own rules depending on their building, stock, and local regulations. For example, usually pet friendly stores in shopping malls may not allow pets due to the mall’s rules. Always call ahead and check with a store on their pet policies.
Every dog friendly store requires the pet to be safely secured, either in a pet carrier or on a leash. Pets are also expected to be well behaved, trained and not to make a mess of the merchandise or on the floor. Owners are responsible for any messes the pet may create.
Also keep in mind that not every shopper in the store will enjoy dogs, so be sure to give other shoppers their space!
