Of the 26 resorts surrounding Walt Disney World in Orlando, 4 of them are pet friendly! Yacht Club Resort, Port Orleans Resort- Riverside, Art of Animation Resort and the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The resorts charge a fee of $50-$75 per night for your dog, and they aren’t allowed into the parks or hotel common areas (service animals have their own rules). However, Disney offers the Best Friends Pet Care Center on campus for boarding or daycare while your pet is with you!

Most Widespread: Marriott, Choice Hotels, Best Western

These hotel chains have many, many. MANY different branches and names, spread across the country.
Marriott hotels, Choice hotels and Best Western hotels all offer great amenities at great rates. Each hotel has different rules and accommodations, so be sure to check with each hotel before your stay.

Most Affordable: Motel 6, Red Roof, Extended Stay America

Sometimes you just need a place to crash for a few nights and want an affordable option. All properties for Motel 6, Extended Stay America and Red Roof Inns are pet friendly. Motel 6 has no pet fee. Neither does most Red Roofs for one pet, but it does have weight limits. Extended Stay has fees and deposits based on the length of your stay. What these hotels lack in amenities, they make up for in affordability!

    Luxurious: Kimpton and Four Seasons

If you’re looking for a shared, luxurious experience with your pup, these are the place you want to stay! Kimpton hotels are spread across the world, and all of them are pet-friendly with no restrictions on size, breed or weight. Kimpton hotels are also partnered with Wag! Dog Walking Services for guests.
The Four Seasons are also very accommodating for your pets, offering no pet fees and luxury amenities. The restaurants are often pet friendly patios, but many offer a special dining menu for dogs. Some even go as far as offering grooming and walking services!

Just For Fun: Dog Bark Park Inn a large wooden beagle shaped Bed and Breakfast

Have you ever wanted to sleep in the world largest beagle? If you said no, then this is not the hotel for you. This hotel isn’t known for its amenities or luxury. In fact, there’s only one room and not even a TV! This unique Bed and Breakfast located in rural Idaho is the attraction itself. They are pet friendly of course and make for a great story and photo opportunity.

    Prep for Success

You want to be sure to pack the essentials for your pet! A safe carrier, like our stylish yet functional bags, can be a good space for your dog to relax during travel. Your pet pack should include food, treats, water bottles, pee pads, poo bags, medications and your dog’s vaccination records. The last is especially important if you are flying with your pet!
